Description
Greetings from the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Students Association (MetSA) at IIT Madras!
We are excited to announce our flagship annual department technical festival, Amalgam 2023, which is scheduled to take place on April 21, 22 and 23. This event is a platform for students to showcase their technical prowess and creativity through various competitions, workshops, and lectures, as well as to celebrate our culture and diversity through cultural events.
This year, we are proud to announce the inclusion of a national symposium as part of Amalgam. The symposium will bring together several eminent speakers from IISc, various IITs, industries and government organizations, to share their insights and experiences with our students. It will provide a unique opportunity for several students to learn about the latest trends and advancements in the field of metallurgical and materials engineering. We have attached a brochure that provides information about the various events and activities that will be held as part of Amalgam 2023. It includes a list of competitions, workshops, lectures, and cultural events that will be conducted during the three-day event.
We are currently looking out for sponsorships from individuals and organizations that would like to support our event. The sponsorships will be used to cover the costs associated with organizing the event, such as venue rental, logistics, publicity and prizes associated with the competitions. It would be great if we could receive sponsorship of about INR 5 lakhs from this Joy of Giving initiative.
We believe that your support and sponsorship will make a significant contribution to the success of Amalgam 2023, and we look forward to your participation. Thank you for your time and consideration. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or require additional information.
