Himalayas is the mega mess of IITM where nearly 4000 to 4500 IITM students gather everyday and during evenings they get together at the lawn.
An outdoor Wall mounted LED TV is being set up to help the students relax in the evening.
The TV inclusive of the installation and programming will cost around 4.5 lakhs inclusive of adding Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity.
Himalayas is also the junction where the IITM students host a lot of cultural programs.
And the most sought after place to watch the Cricket matches together.
