ABOUT US
We are Team Anveshak, the official student-led Space Robotics team from Centre for Innovation, IIT Madras, with a mission to represent India in the world’s most prestigious space robotics competitions.

To revolutionize the field of space robotics and make India a global leader in planetary exploration technologies.
Our primary objective is to create autonomous, high-performance rover prototypes and drones that can simulate real-world planetary exploration scenarios. Backed by a decade-long legacy of engineering excellence, we have proudly completed 10 rover iterations and a few drone iterations, consistently evolving with each build.

CURRENT PROGRESS
Our next big leap is participating in multiple global Mars rover and drone competitions, including events like

- The European Rover Challenge (ERC), Poland
- Indian Rover Challenge (IRC), India
- International Space Drone Challenge (ISDC), India
- International Rover Challenge (IRoC), India
Our new rover, 'Isaac', is running, being rigorously tested, and showing strong performance across all systems.
Our drone team is also working meticulously on a new, advanced autonomous drone iteration. We are excited and well-prepared to represent India globally.
However, we are still working hard to overcome challenges in building a more robust electronics architecture and refining mechanical manufacturing processes.
