We are Team Anveshak – the official student-led Mars Rover team from the Centre for Innovation, IIT Madras, with a mission to represent India in the world’s most prestigious space robotics competitions. Comprising over 60+ passionate undergraduate students from diverse engineering disciplines, we are united by a common goal:
To revolutionize the field of space robotics and make India a global leader in planetary exploration technologies.
Our primary objective is to create autonomous, high-performance rovers that can simulate real-world planetary exploration scenarios. With a decade-long legacy of engineering excellence, we have proudly completed 10 rover iterations, consistently evolving with each build.
