IITM TV is the official student media body of IIT Madras and produces a wide range of videos ranging from campus tours and after moivies to vox-rox and shortfims. In short, we document and preserve insti memories. Time and again, both alumni and aspirants look at our channel with the hope of being on campus (again)!
We are often the first source of information and information for every aspirant given that many of our videos provide a sneak peek into campus life. Over the years, we have worked on establishing the institute’s brand by curating high-quality content and providing media support to other institute teams.
We are a passionate group of people and the lack of funds has never stopped us from producing high-quality content that all stakeholders of the institute cherish. While all the audience sees is a well-made video, behind the camera is our crew who often bring the best out of mobile phone cameras and makeshift equipment.
Having accumulated over 7 years of experience as a filmmaking team, we are looking to upscale the quality of our work by getting the professional cameras and other equipment required. And we look forward to your help with the same. Every contribution you make will go to enhancing the institute's brand image, creating lifelong memories for the students and capturing insti in space and time for everyone to see and relive.
