What will be role of the consortium?Consortium will be designed to attract an international collaborative of energy companies from across the spectrum – Oil and Gas, Energy storage, utilities, renewable developers, industrial conglomerates and end use technologies Example members are Shell, Total Energies, Tesla, Bechtel, architectural and construction firms, Ashok Leyland, Tata Power, EdF, etc.
The consortium will provide a portfolio of research and findings to member companies which reduces risk for companies, and also eliminates single points of failure with individual projects. It provides greater exposure for the different centers by bringing in companies who might be specifically interested in one area, but now learn about the research being conducted in other centers.
