On December 27th and 28th of 2018, China reunion for the Class of 1998 transpired in IIT Madras Campus.

About the cause:

We start this giving report with heartfelt thanks to the 1998 batch China reunion for their continued generous contribution to the growth and development of IIT Madras. The China reunion batch of 1998 decided unanimously to use the funds donated for NIRMAAN. Donations detailed: Project: INR Thirty-five lakhs only.

Pledges received to date: Rs.35, 00,000 /- INR Thirty-five lakhs only.

Donations received to date: Rs.32, 00,000/- INR Thirty-two lakhs, only.

Past reunion contributions of 1998 batch:

Received Rs. 2.5 lakhs towards CNC Machine supplied to CFI.

How the money will be used:

The funds donated by the batch will be used for projects and endowments.

These projects and endowments will be based on the conscience of the batch.

The China reunion batch of 1978 decided unanimously to use the funds donated for NIRMAAN as a Project.
