Alakananda has over 347 rooms currently accommodating more than 400 students, with 23 toilets. The hostel also comprises of common rooms including TV room, library, tech room, gym and indoor sports room and sports ground.The renovation work to be done in the Alakananda hostel includes-
Installation of Monkey proofing, Wi-fi connection, Gym equipment, RO water plant accessories, Washing Machines, Corridor necessities, Geyser, Music room, Garden, Sports room, etc.
