At IIT Madras, every student deserves the chance to dream freely, learn fully, and live with dignity. Yet, for many students with disabilities, meeting everyday living expenses—hostel, mess, transportation, and assistive needs—can be an overwhelming challenge.
We are launching a special Student Living Expense Fund to support 150 Differently abled students on campus. Each student requires approximately ₹1,00,000 per year to cover essential living expenses (Mess fee + Hostel fee etc) and ensure they can focus on academics without financial stress.
