About this cause
- IIT Madras gives people an opportunity to endow Chairs, each with an initial corpus of Rs.100 laks
- The Chairs are intended to recognize senior IIT Madras professors for exceptional performance.
- Chairs will be named by IITM in consultation with the Donor.
How the money will be used
The endowment interest will be used to fund a salary increment for the awarded Professor. The occupant of the Chair is Prof. Krishna Moorthy Sivalingam, Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
