Description
To fund:
• Refreshments for the visitors and participants.
• Photographer and videographer.
• Decorations for the event.
• Lighting and sound systems to intensify the visitor’s experience, etc.
• Professional performers to stage various traditional forms of art such as dances, music.
What IITM gets out of it:
• Publicity and popularity. The event can be used as a diving board to reach out to the public. If there is media coverage for the event, IIT Madras’ efforts in preserving the rich heritage of the Institute will come to light.
• The Heritage Club members (students) will get to experience first-hand how an event is organised. It will also give Institute bands and artists to showcase their talents at this event.
• An exceptional and thrilling occasion filled with grandeur and happiness.
What the donor can receive in return:
• The trophies, certificates and mementos for this event could be named after the donor and could have their name engraved.
• All publicity posters, social media posts will include the donor’s name on them.
• The opportunity to address the audience (either in person or virtually through a screen).
