Description
IIT Madras has opened its first offshore campus in Zanzibar. Through this pioneering effort, IIT Madras will provide its world-class education to the larger African region through the Zanzibar campus. As a part of the overall development of the campus and academic programs, we have started a seminar series in the Zanzibar campus. The initial few seminars of this series witnessed tremendous participation including from colleges and universities in the region. This seminar series can potentially have a catalyzing effect in enhancing collaborations between IITMZ and local universities and serve as a vehicle for facilitating dialog between the local Zanzibar community and IITMZ.
