To meet its aspirational goals, IITM seeks financial support from the alumni community towards the Department Development Fund (DDF).
The DDF will be used as decided by the respective Department Head (in consultation with all faculty members) for the following:
(1) Non-operational expenses intended to aid in the advancement of the Department
(2) Visits abroad for Faculty Recruitment & Research Collaborations
(3) Hosting of Student Events, National & International Conferences/Symposia/ Workshops
(4) Renovation, upgrade & maintenance of common facilities & equipment
(5) Recognition & reward mechanisms for outstanding work by Technical & Administrative Staff, etc.
