Description
The students of IITM campus are actively participating in the sports and physical activities, in spite of their busy schedule, hectic academic and research work. Some of our institute players are representing IIT Madras in the prestigious events like INTER IIT sports meet etc.
The concrete cricket pitch with poles were done by the civil maintenance unit using the Alumni and Institute funds. This facilitates the hostel junta to prepare well for the inter-hostel competition as well as use these facilities as stress busters.
We, the Cauvery hostel council thank the alumni for their kind donation towards improvisation of sports facilities.
