IITM Hawks Squash Team Fund

Description

We are Hawks, IIT Madras's college squash team that regularly competes at inter collegiate level and the prestigious Inter-IIT representing IIT Madras with pride.

Why We Need Your Support

To improve as a team, we need exposure to high-intensity competitive matches beyond the few teams we regularly face. We aim to travel to other institutes in Chennai and beyond. Events like BITS Arena in Hyderabad allow us to compete against a wider talent pool, helping us refine our game and for the covetedInter-IIT tournaments. However, travel costs are significant barriers to our team, and we need your support to make this happen.

A detailed budget sheet outlining our estimated expenses is attached for transparency.

Our Achievements

At the last Inter-IIT, the IIT Madras Women’s Squash Team secured a bronze medal at the 57th Inter-IIT sports meet 2024 at IIT Indore, contributing to IIT Madras lifting the Women’s General Championship and being Runner-ups to the overall GC. This achievement has set a benchmark and legacy for future teams, proving that IITM Squash is here to stay. Beyond Inter-IIT, the team has consistently performed at intercollegiate tournaments, securing a podium finish in every event for the past five years. Our steady success reflects our dedication and potential to grow further with the right support.
