About the cause
Dr. Raghunathan Rengasamy received his Bachelor of Technology from IITM, and doctor of Philosophy from Purdue University. He is a Professor at Indian Institute of Technology Madras in the Department of Chemical Engineering. In 1990 he worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant in School of Chemical Engineering, Purdue University, West Lafayette. In 1995 he worked as a Senior Engineer in Asea Brown Boveri (ABB), Bangalore, India. Towards 1996 he started working as an Assistant Professor in Department of Chemical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Later he worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor in School of Chemical Engineering, Purdue University, West Lafayette. In 2002 he went to Clarkson University as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering.
Post 2008 he started working with IIT Madras. His research areas are Fuel Cell Technology, Energy Systems, Systems Biology, Multiscale Modeling and Optimization, Process Fault Diagnosis.
