Description
We are Team Raftar, a 45-member student research group based out of IIT Madras, working on revolutionizing the Indian transportation landscape by innovating on electric vehicle technologies. We have been building combustion race cars for 10 years, representing IIT Madras in both national and international competitions.
We have had a successful start in the development of our electric vehicle, as indicated by us securing overall 2nd in the Formula Bharat electric category with our second electric car - the RFR24. In addition to this, our team was also awarded the Best Overall Design Award, the Best Battery Design Award, and the Best Modelling and Simulation Award conducted by Mathworks.
To achieve this goal, we are seeking support to raise ₹30 lakhs (approximately $40,000) to cover essential expenses for our team and car to participate in this prestigious international event. Your contributions will enable us to showcase India's engineering talent on a global stage and inspire future generations of innovators.
