First Ever Student-built Hybrid Rocket Engine
Team Abhyuday, the Rocketry team of IIT Madras, proudly announces the development of the first ever student-built hybrid rocket engine. In this year's competition, we are integrating SRAD avionics for precise navigation while implementing our custom canards to enhance roll damping. Our ambitious goal is to engineer a minimum diameter rocket for optimal performance.
Our remarkable journey in space exploration includes securing the 16th rank globally in terms of flight performance among 150+ competing teams, a remarkable feat we achieved in the prestigious Spaceport America Cup. We stand as a testament to innovation, and our commitment to reaching new heights in rocketry culture drives us forward. As the first IIT to perform tremendously in this esteemed competition, we're pioneering the growth of rocketry in India and beyond.
How Can you help us?
We have an incredibly dedicated team that managed to design a complete rocket, including thorough simulations and extensive testing, in just four months. The breakdown of our estimated budget for this year, which amounts to 48 lakhs, is provided in the accompanying presentation. We kindly request your support for a project that is poised to shape a bright future.
