About the cause:To procure a Metal 3D Printer for general purpose prototyping needs across campus.
Currently we do not have any metal 3D printer on our campus. Many of us spend an exorbitant amount of time and money for prototype fabrication, often with mixed results. Previously metal 3D printers have been very expensive and output not very satisfactory. However, recently systems have improved very much and have become fairly affordable.
